Introducing VikingSmackdown.com: Hello Viking’s First Birthday iPhone & iPod Touch Super Contest Radness

We figured, it’s our first birthday. Let’s hold a contest to throw a cake!

That’s right. You could win the opportunity to be flown to Minneapolis, where you will be handed a very large birthday cake to throw at our CEO, Tim Brunelle. All you need to do is achieve the highest score playing Viking Smackdown!

We created this game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. You don’t even need a fancy 3G model to play. (We’re utilizing the tilt sensor to trigger action in the Safari web browser. None of that crazy SDK stuff. This is old school iPhone technology.)

You heard right. Whoever has the #1 high score in the Viking Smackdown High Score Contest™ at 5:00pm CST on Friday, August 15 wins big. We’ll fly the winner to Minneapolis, put ‘em up in a fancy hotel, then give ‘em a really large birthday cake and the chance to throw it at our CEO—all broadcast on the Internet.
